Beyond-Use Date (BUD): Liquid medications - 90 days. Capsules and tiny tablets - 180 days.

The Minnesota Board of Pharmacy changed the regulations related to compounding veterinary medications for office use in the 2019 legislative session. Emergency veterinary compounding. A pharmacist working within a pharmacy licensed by the board in the veterinary pharmacy license category may compound and provide a drug product to a veterinarian without first receiving a patient-specific prescription only when:
